As well as usual office hours, Mrs Dhariwal Notary Public will accommodate evening and weekend appointments for clients 7 days a week.
What is required to see a Notary Public?
Each case will be different but the Notary Public will in all cases:
expect you to make an appointment
need you to bring good evidence of your identity.
need to be satisfied that you understand any document particularly a document which is not in English
want to see any relevant papers or documents that relate to your matter
It helps a lot if you can send/email or fax a copy of your document to the notary before your appointment if at all possible.
IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
preferably your passport.. If you have no passport a government-issued document which bears your photograph, such as a photographic driving licence.
Proof of residence – a recent document which confirms where you live, such as a recent utility bill or bank statement which is no more than 3 months old.
OVERSEAS LAWYER’S INSTRUCTIONS
If available you should also bring along any instructions given by the lawyer who prepared the document (where applicable) or forward these to the Notary Public by email in advance of your appointment.
